  • Meditation’s Impact on the Nervous System.

  • The Science of Stress: Focus on the Endocrine System and Hormones.

  • Differentiating Types of Stress: Distinguishing between beneficial and harmful stress.

  • Exploring the Social Readjustment Scale.

  • Insights into Breath and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali (sutra 1.2, 2.49 - 2.53).

Module 2

  • Neural Pathways, Neuroplasticity, and Samskaras.

  • Understanding the Default Mode Network and its role in a wandering mind.

  • Scientific Benefits of Meditation.

  • Embodied Cognition and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali (sutra 1.31 - 1.40).

  • Comparative Analysis of Introspective vs. Extrospective Meditation.
